What we keep
- Account: username, password (stored only as a hash nobody can read), and your email if you add one.
- Play data: characters, items, gold, chat lines (kept 7 days), reports and penalties.
- Bug reports: what you write, the screenshot (if you keep it), the version, map, position and a few log lines.
- Crashes: after the game closes unexpectedly, the next login only says “the last session crashed” and the version, to count the crash rate. The log and the machine details (Windows, graphics card, memory) are sent only when you press Report this crash; they carry no name, email, chat or IP address.
- IP address: to fight abuse and limit wrong-password tries.
- Play numbers (hours played, progress) to balance the game, not tied to personal details.
